basically a lot of factor which influence speed of internet access, such as, bad traffic between customer house to nearest central office, the problem for side central office (ISP), malware, the problem for own our computer and nearly largely caused by the server side which we visit in our top connection side, then how to speed up connection internet?
before we explain more how to speed up connection internet, we need to know prinsiple. when we type a url example.www.sahid246.com by browser, there is a mechanism which translated www.sahid.com into a IP by DNS resolver or DNS server resolution process host-name if your computer is on the network where there is not DNS server which can resolve host name(from host name became address) or there is local resolver but can not resolve a request. then the request is forwarded to out geteway (router).
if we use speedy for request DNS is forwarded to out DNS server which there is a office of telkom (DNS1 and DNS2). after DNS server from Telkom find IP address from request. example (www.sahid246.com have IP=202.102.10.211), then ip be returned to computer which ask and the computer used Ip=202.102.10.211 to server with it. actually there is long delay if that was resolved host name is DNS server other. generally when we subscribe at ISP, of course there is service agreement, we can know how many bandwidth which we will receive.
